Every year, families around Corona and the Inland Empire start looking for pumpkin patches, corn mazes, hayrides, fall festivals and places where the kids can pick out the perfect pumpkin. But figuring out which pumpkin patch is closest, what it costs, when it's open and whether there's actually enough there to keep the kids entertained can take some work.

So I did it for you.

Quick Guide: Which Pumpkin Patch Should You Choose?

If you don't want to read through every location first, here's where I'd start.

Want to stay in Corona?
Start with The Pumpkin Factory or Little Rascals Pumpkin Patch at Dos Lagos.

Want a huge fall festival experience?
Live Oak Canyon is probably the standout.

Have younger kids who want rides and animals?
Peltzer Pumpkin Farm or Seasonal Adventures are good options.

Want more of a traditional farm feel?
Take a look at Wickerd Farm or Greenspot Farms.

Want a mountain day trip?
Pumpkins in the Pines at SkyPark gives you a completely different fall experience near Lake Arrowhead.

Now let's look at each one.

1. The Pumpkin Factory – Corona, CA

If you're looking for a pumpkin patch in Corona, this is one of the easiest places to start.

The Pumpkin Factory is located at 1545 Circle City Drive and combines pumpkin shopping with rides, games, a petting zoo, pony rides, food and plenty of fall photo opportunities.

For 2026, the Corona location is open October 2 through October 31. Admission is free Wednesday and Thursday and $5 Friday through Sunday, with children 2 and younger admitted free. Parking is also free. Pumpkin Factory

The Pumpkin Factory also offers a pretty impressive list of rides and attractions, including a Ferris wheel, carousel, swings, slides, inflatables, petting zoo and pony rides. Most of those activities are separate from general admission. Pumpkin Factory

Best for: Corona families who want plenty for the kids to do without driving far.

2026 hours: Wednesday–Thursday 5–9 PM, Friday 4–10 PM, Saturday noon–10 PM and Sunday noon–9 PM. Pumpkin Factory

2. Live Oak Canyon Pumpkin Farm – Redlands, CA

If you're looking for the big fall-festival experience, Live Oak Canyon deserves a spot high on your list.

Live Oak Canyon describes itself as the largest pumpkin patch in Southern California and lists more than 70 rides, games and attractions along with more than 300 petting-zoo animals. There are pumpkins, a corn maze, rides, games, food and plenty of fall photo opportunities. Live Oak Canyon Pumpkin Patch

The 2026 season runs September 17 through November 2, although there are several closed dates during the season, so definitely check the calendar before making the drive. Admission varies by date, and children 2 and younger are free. Live Oak Canyon Pumpkin Patch

Best for: Families who want to make pumpkin-patch day a bigger event rather than a quick stop.

2026 hours: Monday–Thursday 4–9 PM, Friday 4–10 PM, Saturday 10 AM–10 PM and Sunday 10 AM–9 PM. Live Oak Canyon Pumpkin Patch

3. Peltzer Pumpkin Farm – Temecula, CA

Peltzer is a great option if you like the idea of a real farm atmosphere mixed with plenty for the kids to do.

Located in Temecula Wine Country, Peltzer Pumpkin Farm has a petting farm, pony rides, train rides, gem panning, John Deere carts and trikes, carnival games, pig races and more. Peltzer Pumpkin Farm

The 2026 season opened September 19. Admission is $2 Monday through Thursday and $4 Friday through Sunday. Children under 2 are free with a paid adult. Peltzer Pumpkin Farm

One important planning tip: during the week, the petting farm opens at 10 AM, but most of the other attractions don't begin until 4 PM. On Saturday and Sunday, attractions open at 9 AM. Peltzer Pumpkin Farm

Best for: Families with younger kids who want animals, rides and that classic farm feel.

Peltzer Pumpkin Farm

4. Frosty's Forest Pumpkin Patch – Chino, CA

Frosty's Forest is another good choice if your kids want more than just pumpkins.

The Chino pumpkin patch has a 4-acre themed corn maze, Corn Cob Beach, animal viewing, rides, games and photo opportunities. Admission actually includes the corn maze, Corn Cob Beach, animal viewing zoo and photo-op path, while many other attractions cost extra. Frosty's Forest

The 2026 season runs from September 25 through October 31. Admission varies depending on the day, with some Mondays offering free admission. Frosty's Forest

Best for: Families who want a bigger fall outing with a corn maze, animals and carnival-style activities.

One thing to know before you go: the regular corn maze closes at 8 PM even on nights when the pumpkin patch stays open later.

5. Tom's Farms – Temescal Valley, CA

Tom's Farms is a little different from the traditional pumpkin farms on this list, but I included it because it's so close to Corona and makes an easy fall family stop.

The Farmers Market currently has pumpkins, and Tom's Farms also has restaurants, shopping and family attractions. Its current site features its train, carousel and other family entertainment. Tom's Farms Amusement Park

Best for: Corona-area families who want an easy local outing where you can grab pumpkins, get something to eat and spend some time with the kids.

I wouldn't consider this the same type of full pumpkin-farm experience as Live Oak Canyon or Peltzer. Think of it more as an easy fall stop close to Corona.

6. Wickerd Farm – Menifee, CA

If the giant carnival atmosphere isn't really your thing, Wickerd Farm offers something quieter.

The family-owned Menifee farm has pumpkins, gourds, Indian corn, corn stalks and straw bales, along with an interpretive center, butterfly garden, picnic area, small play area and family photo spots. Wagons are available while you shop for pumpkins. Wickerd Farm

The pumpkin patch is open every day through October 31. Pumpkin-patch hours are Monday through Friday from 10 AM–8 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM–9 PM. Wickerd Farm

Best for: Families looking for a smaller, more relaxed pumpkin-patch experience.

7. Seasonal Adventures Pumpkin Patch – Eastvale, CA

For my Corona and Eastvale families, this is another really convenient option.

Seasonal Adventures in Eastvale is open October 1–31 and features pumpkins, mechanical rides, inflatable slides, obstacle courses, bounce houses, a petting zoo and train. Parking is free. Seasonal Adventures

Admission is $3 per adult, while guests under 18 are free. Attractions require additional tickets. Seasonal Adventures also says regular pumpkins generally range from $10–$20, with specialty pumpkins and gourds priced separately. Seasonal Adventures

Best for: Corona and Eastvale families with younger kids who want a pumpkin patch with rides and activities close to home.

Seasonal Adventures Eastvale

8. Seasonal Adventures Pumpkin Patch – Murrieta, CA

Seasonal Adventures also has a Murrieta location, which makes this a convenient choice for families in southwest Riverside County.

Like Eastvale, the Murrieta location runs October 1–31 with mechanical rides, inflatables, obstacle courses, bounce houses, a petting zoo, train, pumpkins, squash, gourds and fall decorations. Parking is free. Seasonal Adventures

Hours are Monday–Thursday 4–9 PM, Friday 4–10 PM, Saturday 11 AM–10 PM and Sunday 11 AM–9 PM. Seasonal Adventures

Best for: Murrieta and Temecula-area families who want an easy pumpkin-patch experience with plenty for younger kids.

Seasonal Adventures Murrieta

9. Greenspot Farms Pumpkin Patch – Mentone, CA

Greenspot Farms is one of the best choices on this list if you want more of a traditional working-farm experience.

The pumpkin patch is open daily from 9 AM–6 PM throughout October, and both general admission and parking are free. Green Spot Farms

The farm offers pumpkins in a variety of shapes and colors, along with tractor-pulled hayrides, farm animals, a train ride, bounce house, horse rides, duck races, playground and hay maze. Green Spot Farms

Greenspot Farms also grows pumpkins and other crops on the property, so this feels quite different from a seasonal pumpkin lot. Green Spot Farms

Best for: Families who want a traditional farm setting and like the idea of free admission and parking.

10. Pumpkins in the Pines at SkyPark – Skyforest, CA

This one is for families who want to turn pumpkin-patch day into a mountain day trip.

Pumpkins in the Pines takes place at SkyPark at Santa's Village in Skyforest, about five minutes from Lake Arrowhead. Rather than being a traditional pumpkin farm, it's a park-wide fall festival with pumpkins, pumpkin painting, seasonal food and drinks, entertainment and fall activities throughout the park. Skypark Santa's Village

The 2026 event takes place October 3–4, 10–11, 17–18, 24–25 and October 31. Pumpkins in the Pines is included with a SkyPark day ticket or annual pass. Skypark Santa's Village

Best for: Families who want a full fall day in the mountains and something different from the traditional pumpkin-patch experience.

11. Little Rascals Pumpkin Patch at Dos Lagos – Corona, CA

And we're ending right back here in Corona.

Little Rascals Pumpkin Patch is located at The Shops at Dos Lagos in South Corona, making it another easy option when you don't want pumpkin-patch day to involve a long drive.

The seasonal patch offers pumpkin picking, rides and festive games. Current hours are Monday–Thursday 4–9 PM, Friday 4–10 PM, Saturday 11 AM–10 PM and Sunday noon–9 PM. Dos Lagos

Best for: Corona families looking for an easy local pumpkin patch that can be combined with dinner or another stop at Dos Lagos.

Which Pumpkin Patch Is Closest to Corona, CA?

If staying close to home is your priority, start with The Pumpkin Factory in Corona or Little Rascals at Dos Lagos.

Tom's Farms in Temescal Valley is also very close, while Seasonal Adventures in Eastvale gives you another nearby option with more kid-focused rides and attractions.

For a bigger destination experience, you'll need to drive a little farther to places such as Live Oak Canyon, Peltzer or Pumpkins in the Pines.

A Few Tips Before You Head Out

October weekends can get busy, especially as Halloween gets closer. If your schedule allows, weekday visits can mean smaller crowds and, at some locations, lower admission.

I also recommend checking the location's official website the day you're planning to go. Hours, weather closures, attraction availability and pricing can change during the season.

And don't assume general admission includes everything. Several of these pumpkin patches charge separately for rides, games, pony rides, petting zoos or other attractions.

Most importantly, choose the patch that fits your family. A toddler probably doesn't need a giant all-day fall festival to have fun, while older kids may want a corn maze, rides and more to do.
